Just as Jesus told His disciples, in so many words, that they would not be exempt from having to experience difficulties in the world, He is speaking to us today. Let me paraphrase the Savior’s words, knowing that we can all identify with reoccurring challenges, reappearing crisis, revved up confrontations, and really, certain opposition. My paraphrase: In this world you and me, disciples of this time, we will continue to have to go through this and that.
Being surprisingly brief this morning, let me just point out that we can take heart as we go through our difficulties of various types, through the “this and that.” Why? Because Jesus has conquered the world. Therefore, as we go through what we have to go through, remember we are not exempt from this and that. But to our advantage, we have Jesus, the all-powerful Christ, the One who conquered the world, He is on our side. That’s good news!
Read the closing verse and recite it as you experience this or that today. You will make it through. Don’t think you can’t, know that you can! Have a terrific Thursday! Be blessed!

Whatever your problem, I put it all in His hands. This and that, I put all in His hands. I know that He can handle them, I put it all in His hands. No matter how great or small, He’s the Master of them all. I put it all, yes I put it all, in His hands, in His hands. He is our Cross-bearer.
