DYOFMI

“For the Lord is good…” (Psalm 100:5 Amplified Bible)

Call today’s meditation a DYOFMI! No, it’s not a real word. I just made it up. There are two parts in my created word: (1) the DYO part, and (2) the FMI part. The first part, the DYO part, will give you an opportunity to be part of a meditation to be published later this week. All you have to do is to write me a reply, providing an explanation of the saying, “God is good all the time.” For your information (FYI), DYI stands for “Do Your Own.” Your reply will benefit many. At least, I think that will be the case, for I have heard many of you say, “God is good all the time and all the time God is good.”

That’s where the second part of my made-up word comes in, the FMI come into play. Those last three letters in my imaginary word stand for “For My Information.” You see, your response will inform me that you really are reading these daily meditations. Your response will be beneficial and encouraging to yours truly, the writer.

So, will you reply? I hope so! Nevertheless, I love you, even if you don’t! Be blessed!

“Everyone will tell about how good you are and sing about your righteousness.” (Psalm 145:7 The Living Bible)

Committed to the climb,

  1. Psalm 100:5 says, “For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” God is good in His character. God is good in His mercy. God is good in His faithfulness. We may experience disappointment, loss, rejection, or difficult seasons. That does not mean God has stopped being good. God’s goodness is greater than our circumstances. FYI: God is good—even when life doesn’t feel good.

    1. You just might be the content for the Sunday meditation, along with Dr. Gloria’s! Thank you! Be blessed!

  2. God is good all of the time. Even when we can’t see what He is doing, God is good. He creates barriers to keep us from falling into a failing situation. He puts up walls to keep us from running into a catastrophe at a dangerous intersection. He keeps the highways and the byways clear so that we can get to and from safely. He encourages us when we don’t feel worthy. I tell you, God is good all of the time.

    1. I just told LaTanza that her response and yours will make up the Sunday meditation! Thanks for the response! Be blessed!
