THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH SAME

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” (Albert Einstein)

This is your Monday Short meditation. Smile, because me meaning of “Short” is never the same. Listen! There is a problem with “same.” The unsaved, by all means need to experience change by coming out of darkness into the marvelous, wonderful light. If not, there is a problem with same. Hold on now! Know that the saved cannot be no longer the same, and that is true even after being saved from the penalty of sin. For you see, we must always strive to be better, always find ourselves reaching toward the mark of the higher calling, always determined, as evident but our actions, to make perfect progress as we aim for perfection, and we must relentlessly, devotedly stay committed to the climb. Yes, the climb never ends. You see, on the climb, you will experience the peaks and valleys of life. On the climb, some days you will be able to ascend through the challenges of the day easily. But on other days, you will find yourself on the rough side of the mountain. If you try to handle your climb the same way, there is a problem with same. Let’s stay right here for a moment. On the climb, there will be times when you feel like you are barely holding on. But thank God that while we are on the climb, we will be inspired that everywhere we step as members of a holy nation, as priests of God, we will become increasingly and more regularly cognizant that we are standing on holy ground; ground made so by our presence. Yet in every space and place, the factors affecting us, tempting us, influencing us, opposing us are not the same. Therefore, we must adjust, acting appropriately, yet still quite obvious is a child of the Almighty. Acting the same without doing what I said, in a righteous way, does not take into account the circumstances. Then, I have to tell you, there is a problem with same.

If you think you have enough bible knowledge and depend on the same things you learned in years past, and you are not continuing to pursue a comprehension of God’s word, there is a problem with same. If you are still praying the same prayers at night that you said when you were a child, there is a problem with same. If your sanctification level is the same as it was, as evident by your living when you were an enthusiastic beginning disciple, then there is a problem with same. If you our trying to solve your problems based on the on how you leaned on your own understanding, in the same way you tried before, and have not trusted the Lord and depended on Him, there is a problem with same. If your tolerance level for hearing the Lord’s word when it is obvious speaking to you specifically and the word demands a change for the better is the same, meaning that you close both your ears and your heart, there is a problem with same.

Let me close by making this relevant to this week, because as you can see, I’m trying to bring about some change in your life. If your illumination of light, is not more intensified by the realization that you still have some growing and more glowing to do, meaning it is unchanged and still the same, there is a problem with same.  So, let me ask you, “How are you going to make sure that “same” is not a problem this week?” Think about it! If you need help, depend on the One referred to below; One where same is a good thing and never problematic. Be blessed!
