Today is going to be a great day, even if travel restrictions keep you from going to the house of the Lord this morning. Here are three things to make this Sunday great: (1) Remember who you are; one of God’s chosen people! You may have been chosen for a team, a job, a heaven approved relationship, or for a blessed opportunity! But look, there is not anything comparable to being chosen by God! (2) Remind yourself, of your privilege and your responsibility that comes with being a member of the royal priesthood! It’s a privilege to go straight to God this morning and as it relates to responsibility, you can get in the word on your own this morning and ready yourself to continue acting as a witnessing bridge, a soul winning bridge, a pointing to the way bridge in both word and deed, so somebody who needs a way to get to God can be as blessed as you are! (3) Raise your voice to the One who is worthy of your worship! Yes, praise God for the many blessing you have experienced, but most of all praise Him because He is the One who called you out of darkness into the wonderful light!
Retain these three things as a priority this Sunday morning! Respond to God for all three of these things in prayer this morning! React in your interactions with others, particularly unbelievers, the unstable, or the seemingly unmovable hardened heart persons, and believers as well; emboldened by these three things that will make this Sunday great! And if Sunday is great, I believe that the rest of your week days will be just as great! Be blessed! And, if by chance you turned in the new early this morning, don’t let that stop you from doing the three things above! Let us remember…
