Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, ‘Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the other Jews. For if you keep silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?’ Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, ‘Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.’ So Mordecai went away and did just as Esther had commanded him. (Esther 4:12-17 NASB)
This is your Sunday Share meditation! Pastor M.R. King preached a sermon Sunday, a word sent by God, entitled “It Only Takes One.” There is no way on earth I can share all that was included in the specific message that he delivered to the congregation. So, as always, I refer you to the Salt Of The Earth (Indianapolis) Facebook page so that you can hear the depth and width of the specific message that God desires His people to hear. “His people” not only applies to those seated in the congregation or viewing online, but it applies to you too! Therefore, after I list Pastor’s major points, I’m going to inject two or three sentences that are addressed to specifically to YOU!
His first point was Recognize the Moment! God is looking for YOU to be the like the first domino that starts a sequence of movement of other dominos aligned with it. He wants YOU to recognize the moment that God wants YOU to stop analyzing your position and start focusing on your purpose. YOU are the one. Pastor’s second point was Respond to the Moment! He is telling YOU to be willing to risk something! YOU need to respond in the right way, noting that not responding will cost you a lot more than if you take the risk! YOU will not find safety if YOU do not move when God tells you to move. YOU are the one! The last point presented by this anointed man of God was, It Only Takes One to Begin a Movement. YOU can refer to a number of people in the Bible to substantiate this point. Check them out! And after doing so, hear these words speaking to you, “YOU are the one in a time such as this!” Pastor said, “When YOU step out as the one, your obedience will echo through generations.” YOU are the one!
Did the Pastor ever get to the cross in his preaching last Sunday! You better believe he did! He knows all good preaching leads to the cross. So, he concluded the message pointing out THE ONE who died for our sins on a Friday afternoon but got up early Sunday morning. Then of course, after quoting a few Scriptures, he added the two verses below.
I hope you were as blessed by this Sunday Share. But you will be more blessed if you hear the sermon in its entirety on the Facebook page referenced above. Have a great day! Be blessed!
Committed to the climb,
Mark L. King
I didn’t see the two verses that you mentioned Pastor “added below”. Nevertheless, I was blessed by this Sunday Share. The message was powerful and moved my heart to recognize that we have a responsibility by being the one. We have to move into action by the One who called us.
Be the one for the One! Thanks for your response!
