YOU CAN REALLY USE IT!

This morning when you attend worship service, you will hear a seron, a specific message sent by a specific messenger specifically for you. “Specifically, for you” does not just mean it is for your to hear and internalize. It is also to equip you in a way that will be useful and beneficial in your everyday living.

Let me give you an example. Last Sunday. Our Pastor preached a sermon entitled, “God Don’t Talk Like That!” With every example, this man of Giod provided, he uttered the unforgettable words, “No! No! No!”

Here is an account of how this message became useful in a work situation. A relatively new employee was uncooperative with his supervisor and unaccepting of the diverse workforce. After informing the HR department of the employee’s behavior, the supervisor was instructed to send him to the Manger of HR’s office.

As the manger tried to get to the root of the problem, the disgruntled employee, still in his probationary period, shared that on his way walking to work, as he cut through a park, God told him to take everybody out at the company. The Manager of HR asked him, “Are you sure about the voice you heard.” The employee said, “Yes, I talk with God.” The Manager of HR quickly responded and said, “I talk to God too, and God don’t talk like that!” The very words and wisdom he had gained from listening to the Sunday message came in handy.

To make a long story short, the relatively new employee, had a relatively short tenure with the company. He was terminated immediately.

Why am I sharing this with you on this present Sunday? I wrote this meditation to make sure that you pay attention to the message God has for you today. You will be edified and equipped to use what has been sent from above at the proper time in an appropriate way. What are you still sitting there for? Get top church! Be blessed!

“I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’” (Psalm 122:1 Amplified Bible)

Committed to the climb,

  1. Heeding to the word of God is going to be helpful in your day to day experiences. If we allow the word to penetrate our hearts and soul, we can use the word as our armour to dodge the darts that the enemy shoots out at us.
