It’s not Monday, but this meditation is a very short one. I heard that you like short ones! Well, read on for less than 3 minutes.
If you are into or interested in cross training, as defined by WebMD, meaning where you combine different types of exercise to design a personal workout routine, I have some advice for you. However, please note that the advice that I have for you is not related to exercises that address three typical but different areas in cross training, referring to strength, cardio (aerobics), and stretching/flexibility. It is not the physical type of activity that will help prevent injuries.
The advice that I have will give you spiritual strength, favorably impact your heart’s activity, and stretch your attitude to a point of assurance that you are confident that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Furthermore, this advice that I’m about to give you will prevent injuring your reputation of being a Christian and will also help you circumvent the things that can slow you down on your Christian journey.
I’m sure you want the advice, my fellow believer. So, instead of making you wait any longer, please refer to the verse below. This is my advice! Have a great day cross training! Be blessed!
“Jesus said to everyone, ‘All who want to come after me must say no to themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow me.’” (Luke 9:23 Common English Bible)
Committed to the climb,
Mark L. King
This method of cross-training is by far the most beneficial to everyone. I will take cross-training seriously, calling on the Lord for my spiritual strength.
Look! I see you training every single day in prayer, study, serving, and running the race. However, I encourage you to follow the beneficial method daily. Be blessed!
