This is your Monday Short meditation! Whether you are unemployed, if you have ascended to the top tier of the organization chart at your place of employment, or if you are somewhere in between, I need to tell you, believer, “Don’t forget to clock in!” Regardless of your status, it is time to go to work! I’m for real! Dress yourself appropriately, meaning clothe yourself in righteousness and clock in! Why do you have to clock in? The answer is found in Jesus’ words below. One more time, “Don’t forget to clock in! Be blessed!
“Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20 Modern English Version)

Regretfully, we don’t see the work of the Lord as a serious commitment where we have to report to duty on a daily basis. I’ll remember to clock-in everyday that the Lord gives me.
