This is your Sunday Share Meditation. Pastor M.R. King’s sermon this past Sunday was entitled, “Dress Like Jesus.” The sent message was from the scriptures above and it was specifically for all who had ears to hear. The very first note I took was after Pastor used an illustration of how we search our closets looking for what we are going to wear on any given day, or in some cases, the night before. I’m sure all who were listening could identify with the illustration. Quickly, after getting our attention, he advised us that every day we should “Open heaven’s closet and dress like Jesus.”
Pastor did not leave us with an illustration and immediately take his seat. He proceeded to give us three major points from our text, the inspired word of God, so we would pull some things out of Heaven’s closet to wear each day. You can hear pastor enunciate them in a way that will edify you and equip you when you listen to the message on Facebook. But I’ll give you a preview so you can dress like Jesus. (1) Wear the mindset of Jesus. (2) Wear His humility. (3) Wear His obedience.
I’m done, but before I bless you, let me ask you a question. Did you pull out what you needed to put on out of Heaven’s closet to make it through the day, well not just making it, but really being the light of the world? Now, I’m really done. Be blessed!
