Tell me, what do you have in the house?’ And she said, ‘Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.’ Then he said, “Go, borrow containers elsewhere for yourself, empty containers from all your neighbors—do not get too few. Then you shall come in and shut the door behind you and your sons and pour into all these containers; and you shall set aside what is full.’So she left him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they began bringing the containers to her, and she poured the oil. When the containers were full, she said to her son, ‘Bring me another container.’ But he said to her, ‘There are no more containers.’ Then the oil stopped. So, she came and told the man of God. This is your Sunday Share meditation. If you have forgotten, each week, a few days past the Lord’s Day, I set out with a goal of reminding you that taking sermon notes is beneficial and, furthermore, taking notes can lead to being blessed, even more. The Sunday Share is also intended to impress on you that fact that good notetaking is good for nothing if you do not let the notes enter your heart, transform you, making you better,
Rev. M.R. King, Pastor of Salt Of The Earth Church (Indianapolis) delivered, once again, a powerful message, one that I know spoke specifically to each one who had ears to hear. The title of the message was, “Do You Know What’s In Your House.” Yes, you might have heard some preacher speak from this text using a title like, “Keep Pouring,” but Pastor delivered a fresh word on Sunday.
My first note scribbled on my church bulletin says, “We place too much focus on what we don’t have and overlook what God has put in our house.” For clarity, know that the Pastor’s use of the word “house” was not intended to be limited to our physical dwelling. It was not to be limited to the place that we call home, but preaching with some authority and from a perspective of duality, Pastor was also referring to what God has put in our individual houses; our earthly tabernacles. Think about it!
My second notes says, “God will take what we see as insignificant and make it significant; take what we feel is insufficient and make it more than sufficient.” Think about this note too!
The Pastor’s major three points, are listed below. When you think about these points, they formed an acronym, “ROW.” Pastor did not present it that way, and probably it was not noted by some, but I heard it clearly, and I was assured that God specifically sent Sunday’s specific message for me and for all who heard it and for those who shall listen to it on the church’s Facebook page. The acronym, “ROW” jumped off my notes when the Pastor, in his closing words, charged the congregation to remember the three points that he took from the text as led by the Spirit of God. Here they are:
Recognize that what God has given you is of great value!
Obey what God says.!
Watch what God can do!

Why can’t we be content with what God is already put in “our house”? We get too focused on the significance of having more. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Come on people, let’s R. O. W. with it: Recognize, Obey, and Watch.
