This anointed man of God pointed out several accurate and applicable points from the text. Check it out in its entirety. You need to do that because I am just going to focus on one of the points of emphasis, one that spoke specifically to me, and I believe it should speak to you. The point: “Lower Your Voice.”
Pastor used an example of how children, in a conversation with their parents or grandparents, in an effort to make their point, they elevate their voice, focusing on the need to say something, rather than focusing on listening to what is being said by the authoritative elders. Pastor did not let adults off the hook. He pointed out that we do the same thing before we move to do something, say something, or settle on a course of action. Instead of consulting with God through prayer or in His word, we often focus on what is in our head based on our intellectual ability, our indoctrinated attitudes, or our instinctive aptitudes. His advice, you need to “Lower Your Voice.”
Whatever challenge you face this week; whatever circumstance opposes you this week, or whatever condition arises to confront you, before you make a move; hear God out. To do so, the same counsel must be followed, “Lower Your Voice.”

I’ve always been impressed with those that can make their point without elevating their voice. This Sunday share reminds me that listening to God is the best way to lower your voice. I plan on listening to the word delivered on Sunday. I want to catch the other words from the Lord.
