WHAT TIME IS IT?

“Sow for yourselves, with a view to righteousness; harvest in accordance with kindness.
break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rains righteousness on you.”(Hosea 10:12 NASB)

This is your Monday Short meditation! As you will note, I posted this at the regular time, 12:02 a.m. Therefore, you have plenty of time to do what I am about to ask you to do.

You have probably watched a sporting event by choice or because someone else had control of the remote, and you saw a sports team huddle in the hallway that led to the court or playing field. The team put their hands together and one strong voice suddenly asked, “What time is it?” All the teammates responded in unison, as one voice, “It’s game time!” This was usually followed by varied excited expressions like, “Whoop!” “Yeah!” or “Let’s go!” That was their pre-game ritual.

What I want to ask you to do this morning, if others live in your domain, is to gather him/her/them all together and pause for a pre-day real, brief motivating moment. Have them stand in a circle and put their hands together, just like the sports team. You take the lead and ask with a strong voice, “What time is it?”  And then, lead the response by all, “It’s time to seek the Lord!” Hopefully you will get some varied excited expressions like, “Amen!,” “Praise the Lord!” or “Hallelujah!” Following your real pre-day moment, take the lead again and say, “Victory is ours!” Have a great, victorious game, er I mean, have a great victorious day! Be blessed!

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

Committed to the climb,

  1. Oh yes it is time to seek the Lord. It’s always time to seek the Lord. Too much can happen that is not positive, you have to be prayed up, word up, and hold on to His Unchanging Hand.

    1. It is time to seek Him and as you suggest, it is time to stay prayed up, and it is time to stay close…holding to God’s unchanging hand. Be blessed!
