YOUR BEGINNING

“Now they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, ‘Where are you?’ He said, ‘I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.’ And He said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat?’ The man said, ‘The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me some of the fruit of the tree, and I ate.’ Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” (Genesis 3:8-13A NASB)

This is your Monday Short meditation! From the beginning, as seen in the interaction between the Creator (Adonai, Elohim) and His created beings (Adam, Eve), God has held us accountable to act according to His expectations. Guess what? God still holds beings, including you and me, accountable. Failure to live according to His expressed word will result in consequences.

Well, this Monday morning is your beginning. Remember God is holding you accountable. Be blessed!

Committed to the climb,
