GIVE GOD REASONS TO BLESS YOU!

“Praise the Lord! Blessed is a person who fears the Lord,
Who greatly delights in His commandments.” (Psalm 112:1 NASB)

Close to a year ago, shortly before I retired as Senior Pastor at a local church, where I had labored since it’s finding in 1990, I preached from 2 Samuel 22. One of the three major points I made, making it personal for each one of us receiving the specific message sent by the Lord was, “The Lord will bless me, for I will give Him reason to do so!”  As a supplement for those who heard the sermon or to serve as a standout revelation to those who did not hear that message in person or virtually, this Monday morning, in this Monday Short, I will review three additional ways that you can give God reasons to bless you. I will make this short, succinct, but it will not lack scriptural support.

Meditate on these the major point above, and the following two tips to give God reasons to bless you, both taken from the verse above. First: Praise the Lord! Second: Fear the Lord! Third: Delight in His commandments.

Have a great Monday! Today and all the days you are blessed to see, live so God can use you and bless you! Be blessed!

  1. I am so undeserving of God’s mercy and grace. Yet I want to please Him and though I am far from perfect, I am making perfect progress. I desire to continue to work for Him so that He will continue to have reasons to continue to bless me.

    1. Continue, like the rest of us. God is merciful and gracious. He will bless you for pressing on! Be blessed!
