“Love is kind….” (I Corinthians 13:4 NASB)
Yesterday, I referred to some verses from I Corinthains 13, verse 4-8 to be precise. One of the things you read in those verses was “Love is kind.” Let’s stay right there! We agree, right? Love is kind. Ange get this! Even before the New Testament, and the teachings of Christ, the inspired word of God includes several references to kindness. For instance, Proverbs 11:17 says, “Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.” Kindness is something God requires us to practice.
Be moved by the scriptures I am sharing with you today. April 15, 2026. And being some moves, make you way through this day, knowing that you don’t have to wait until November 13th, labeled as “Kindness Day” to show kindness. Do it today! Do it every day that the Lord bless you to see! Be blessed!

Acts of kindness can make the world a happier place for everyone. They can boost feelings of confidence, being in control, happiness and optimism. They may also encourage others to repeat the good deeds they’ve experienced themselves – contributing to a more positive community. Galatians 6:10: “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (NIV).

I didn’t recognize there was actually a designated day of kindness. I agree, we should display kindness throughout each day. If we look at Christ’s model of daily living, we know that being kind is the right choice. Christ bestows us with so many blessings including kindness. We should be thankful that we are living another day because of Him. Be thankful and be kind.
